Disposable, Pre-Filled Pod or Refillable Kit: Choosing Your First Device
Short answer: For an adult smoker or vaper buying a first device of their own, a disposable is the simplest start, a pre-filled pod system is a small step up, and a refillable pod kit costs the least to run but asks the most of you. If you don’t smoke or vape, none of these is for you.

- Occasional use or unsure how often you’ll vape: start with a disposable. Nothing to commit to.
- Daily use, but no interest in filling anything: a pre-filled pod system.
- Daily use and happy to do small maintenance: a refillable pod kit pays back its price over time.
What to buy alongside it
A disposable needs nothing else. A refillable kit needs e-liquid and, eventually, spare coils or pods, so check those are easy to get before you commit; bottled e-liquid isn’t in our range yet. Do I need technical knowledge for a pod kit?
Very little. Draw-activated kits like the OXVA XLIM Go 2 have no buttons; you fill the pod, charge it and draw.
