Short answer: Check for the brand’s verification code and use it on the brand’s own website, compare print quality and spelling against the official packaging, be wary of prices far below other sellers, and buy from a seller with a real UAE contact number and clear policies.
Use the verification code
Many major brands print a scratch-off code or QR code on the box. Scan or enter it on the brand’s official website, typed in yourself, not a link printed on the box. A code that’s already been checked many times, or a site that looks off, is a warning sign.
Read the packaging closely
- Blurry print, uneven colours or spelling mistakes.
- Missing batch numbers or manufacturer details.
- Puff counts or flavour names that don’t exist on the brand’s own site.
- Missing nicotine warnings.
Price and seller
