Puff Ratings vs Millilitres: Six AED 30 to 40 Disposables Compared

Bar chart: rated puffs per ml of tank for five disposables, from 333 for Nexus 2000 to 1,000 for Pearl Pro 10000

Short answer: A disposable vape puff rating is the maker’s own figure and does not line up across brands. Across six AED 30 to 40 disposables at 20 mg/ml, rated puffs per millilitre run from 333 to 1,000. Judge by tank size and price per millilitre first. Treat the puff number as a rough label.

Specs and single-unit prices come from our listings, checked 3 October 2026. Puff ratings are manufacturer figures. All six list 20 mg/ml nicotine salt. The Go 2500 listing gives no tank size, so it has no per-ml figure.

Same tank, nearly three times the puffs

The Ghost Pro 3500 and the Pearl Pro 10000 both list a 10 ml tank at 20 mg/ml. One is rated at 3,500 puffs and the other at 10,000. A rating that differs by 2.9 times on the same volume of liquid cannot describe the same size of draw. Either the makers count puffs differently, or one rating is generous. We haven’t timed either device, so we can’t say which. The listings do allow a fair comparison in millilitres, and there the two cost the same, AED 3.50 per ml.

The cheapest puff is not the cheapest millilitre

Per 1,000 rated puffs, the Pearl Pro 10000 is cheapest at AED 3.50 and the Nexus 2000 dearest at AED 17.50, five times more. Per millilitre the gap shrinks to AED 3.50 against AED 5.83, under two times. The puff rating exaggerates the difference because the ratings themselves are uneven.

Charging changes what you get

The Nexus 2000 is listed as pre-charged and non-rechargeable, and the Ghost Pro 3500 as a built-in battery with no charging. When the cell goes flat, the device is finished, with or without liquid left. The Nexus 6000 and Pearl Pro 10000 charge over USB-C, so a flat battery does not strand the tank. The Pearl Pro lists a 600mAh battery. The Nexus 6000 listing does not state a capacity. The Nexus 3500 and Go 2500 listings say pre-charged and don’t mention recharging.

Which one we would pick

For daily use, the Pearl Pro 10000. It ties for the lowest cost per ml in the group at AED 3.50 and recharges, which none of the cheaper-per-ml alternatives offer. For a few days of trying disposables, the Go 2500 or Nexus 2000 are the smallest commitment, though the Nexus 2000 is the dearest per ml.

The honest limit: none of the six listings mentions a display, so you can’t see how much liquid is left. And 20 mg/ml nicotine salt is wrong for anyone who doesn’t already use nicotine. These are for adults only.

Before you order in the UAE

Each listing states 20 mg/ml, which is the ceiling for e-liquid in the national standard, covered in our guide to the UAE rules. Certification is a separate check, so ask for the certificate for the model you want. Delivery is free on orders of AED 350 or more and AED 30 on orders below AED 350, to all seven emirates, with cash on delivery or a payment link on WhatsApp. Heat is the one UAE-specific risk to the device itself. A lithium battery left in a parked car through summer is asking for trouble, and our battery care guide explains why.

Common questions

How many puffs is a disposable vape really good for?

The figure on the box is the maker’s rating. We haven’t timed these devices, so we compare by millilitres: a 10 ml tank holds the same liquid whether it is rated 3,500 or 10,000 puffs.

Which of these is cheapest per millilitre?

The Ghost Pro 3500 and Pearl Pro 10000 tie at AED 3.50 per ml, each holding 10 ml for AED 35.

Are rated puffs comparable between brands?

Not reliably. In these listings the same 10 ml tank is rated anywhere from 3,500 to 10,000 puffs.

Are these 20 mg or 50 mg?

All six list 20 mg/ml (2%) nicotine salt.
